Frequently Asked Questions

Learn how stream overlay packs work before adding them to your scene, including setup steps, software compatibility, file format notes, editing limits, and overlay type differences.

Animated Overlays / Premium Packs
Will these animated overlays lag my computer or cause FPS drops in games?+

Minimally. The animations are rendered in the modern WebM format, which is significantly lighter than standard video files such as MOV or MP4. Thanks to optimization, the overlays use negligible processor resources, allowing for smooth streaming even in demanding games.

Do I have to position all elements manually like in free packs?+

No. The Premium version includes automatic installation files, also known as Scene Collections, for OBS Studio and Streamlabs. Simply import one JSON or overlay file, and all scenes and frames will align themselves in seconds. You save time by skipping the tedious manual setup.

Do the animations loop smoothly, or is there a visible cut?+

All elements, including frames, backgrounds, and panels, are designed as seamless loops. This means the animation plays infinitely without visible jumps, cuts, or stutters.

Will I also receive a static version without animations in the pack?+

Yes. When you buy the Premium version, you get a 2-in-1 set. Inside the pack, there is a complete set of static PNG files. You can use them if you prefer a more minimalist look on certain days or want to minimize the load on your computer.

Can I edit the text on the animated screens, such as Starting Soon?+

The video files themselves have baked-in text and are not editable, but many packs include clean versions, meaning blank backgrounds without text. You can overlay your own text on these directly in OBS using any font you choose. Not every background is designed for standalone use, so read the package description carefully. I always specify there whether the pack includes a blank background or not.

Is the Stinger Transition included, and how do I set it up?+

Yes, the package includes a dedicated transition animation, stylistically matched to the rest of the overlays. You do not need to worry about transition timing settings. If you import the scene collection, the transition timing is imported automatically with the collection.

Which software supports these animations?+

The WebM format is natively supported by all major streaming software: OBS Studio, Streamlabs Desktop, and StreamElements. These files support transparency through an alpha channel, so you do not need to use green screen or chroma keying. If your software supports WebM, MP4, and PNG, you are good to go.

Can I change the colors of the animations?+

The files are rendered in a specific color palette and do not offer a one-click color change in the source files. Advanced users can experiment with Color Correction filters in OBS, but I recommend choosing a pack in the color that matches your brand from the start.

Are all video files in WebM format?+

It depends on the file’s purpose. Assets requiring transparency, such as alerts, frames, and overlays, are rendered in WebM format with an alpha channel. Full-screen scenes like Starting Soon or Be Right Back, which do not require transparency, are always provided in MP4 format for maximum compatibility.

Is an import instruction for scenes included?+

Yes, the package includes PDF documentation. Additionally, we provide dedicated video tutorials that show you step by step how to import ready-made Scene Collections into OBS Studio and Streamlabs in just a few seconds.

Why do WebM files look washed out or have different colors when opened in Windows?+

This is a typical system preview error. Windows video players do not correctly render the alpha channel in WebM files, which leads to distorted colors. This is not a defect in the file. To verify the actual quality, drag the file into a web browser such as Chrome or Firefox, or load it directly into OBS Studio or Streamlabs. It will display correctly there.

Static Overlays / Starter Packs
Are the graphic files, texts, and headers editable?+

No. These are ready-made, rasterized graphic files in PNG format. The text and headers inside the graphics cannot be edited directly.

What does the installation process look like? Is there an installer?+

There is no automatic EXE installer. Installation involves manually adding files to your streaming software, such as OBS Studio or Streamlabs, using drag and drop or by adding an Image Source.

Do static overlays lag the computer or affect CPU/GPU usage?+

Minimally. All files are in static PNG format. They do not require video decoding, which means the load on both GPU and CPU is practically zero.

Is the overlay one large image, or is it made of separate parts?+

The product is modular. Elements such as the webcam frame, chatbox, notification bars, and social media bars are separate files, allowing for flexible arrangement. Many packs also include premade compositions for Just Chatting and Gameplay scenes, in versions with and without a camera.

What is the resolution of these graphics?+

The graphics are designed in native 1920×1080 resolution, also known as 1080p.

Does this product work only on Twitch?+

No. The overlays can be used on any streaming platform, including YouTube, Kick, and Facebook Gaming, because they are standard graphic files.

Which streaming software is compatible with this pack?+

Static overlay packs work with any software that supports PNG image files, including OBS Studio, Streamlabs Desktop, StreamElements, Lightstream, and XSplit.

Can I change the color scheme of the overlays?+

No. These are ready-made PNG files with a fixed color palette, and the colors cannot be modified in the source file.

Is a webcam frame included in the set?+

Yes, the set includes a separate webcam frame.

What is the difference between installing static and animated overlay packs?+

The static version requires manual placement of elements. The animated version, available separately, includes dedicated installation files called Scene Collections that automate the process of importing ready-made scenes into OBS Studio or Streamlabs, usually requiring only minor adjustments after import.

TikTok Overlays
How do I set up these overlays for TikTok Live?+

TikTok Live Studio is the official streaming software for TikTok. Add overlay files as Image or Media sources and position them manually on the canvas. Some packs may include a scene import file, but most TikTok overlay packs require manual placement of each element. Check the package contents in the product description for details. OBS Studio and Streamlabs Desktop also support all included file formats, but streaming to TikTok through third-party software is not officially supported b
